Floor-Tex® Textured Floor Coating
Periodic cleaning procedure

To maintain the appearance of the Floor-Tex® system, periodic cleaning of the substrate is recommended. The following guidelines should be followed when cleaning is required.

Floor-Tex® system must cure a minimum of 30 days prior to initial cleaning.

Using a garden hose and a spray nozzle, rinse entire area regularly to remove dirty and other debris from the substrate. Mild detergent, i.e., Krud Kutter, (TSP) Tri-sodium phosphate, mild degreaser, and/or chlorine bleach can be used to remove stains or excessive dirt

Oil spills and other chemicals should be cleaned immediately with a mild degreaser and water. Do not use citrus-based degreasers or strong solvents such a xylene, toluene, or muriatic acid as they can damage the coating. As with any cleaner, a small test area is always recommended to ensure suitability.

Soft bristle brushes, or a shop broom can be used to facilitate cleaning. Stiff or wire brushes can damage the surface and should not be used.

Cleaning substrate with pressure cleaner will damage the coating and void any warranty (if applicable)
