University of South Carolina
Williams-Brice Stadium at the University of South Carolina needed a floor face-lift. With concerns for fan safety and a nod to aesthetics, the university staff painting department chose SEAL-KRETE Floor-Tex 40# tinted in matching USC Garnet to coat the stadium walkways and pedestrian ramps. For added durability, all surfaces were topcoated with SEAL-KRETE Clear-Seal in satin finish. The result is a durable visually-pleasing floor coating that enhances the stadium's overall look and provides a non-slip, ADA approved finish for the safety of fans. The University has been using Floor-Tex for several years and is pleased with the economical price and added measure of safety it provides.
SEAL-KRETE Floor-Tex 40# is a durable, non-slip textured coating that provides a decorative finish for concrete and masonry surfaces such as ramps, walkways, pool decks, patios and other high-traffic surfaces. Floor-Tex 40# can be easily tinted to any color by adding 1 gallon of tinted latex floor paint. It meets ADA requirements for non-slip coatings and can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayer. It resists moisture, salt, chlorine and oil. Floor-Tex 40# is well-suited for stadium applications because it hides imperfections, stains and discolorations in concrete.
